StackedTools (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website stackedtools.com and the financial calculators available at that domain. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Calculator Inputs

When you use our calculators, you enter financial information (income, age, filing status, account balances, etc.). This information is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We cannot see or access your calculator inputs.

Account Information (Optional)

If you create a free account, we collect your email address and store your saved calculator results. This is the only personal data we store, and you can delete it at any time from your account settings.

Analytics Data

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that collects aggregate, anonymized traffic data (page views, referral sources, general geographic region). Plausible sets no cookies, collects no personally identifiable information, and is fully GDPR compliant. We cannot identify you from analytics data.

We use only essential cookies required to maintain your login session when you’re signed into your StackedTools account. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable all cookies in your browser without losing access to our calculators (though saved results will require an account login).

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. Since we store very little personal data (only your email and saved results if you create an account), these requests are straightforward to fulfill.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@stackedtools.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you simply want to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so directly from your account settings.

8. Data Security

Account data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security enabled — your data is cryptographically isolated from other users and from us. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not store payment card information; Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-DSS compliance.

9. Children’s Privacy

StackedTools is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us at privacy@stackedtools.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify account holders via email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of StackedTools after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
